Welcome to the Lantern Methodist Church, Wimbledon & Raynes Park.

We are a church for the whole community.

Join us every Sunday at 10:30am at the Lantern Methodist Church, Worple Road, Raynes Park and discover something new.

Where

We presently meet at 10.30am each Sunday at the Raynes Park site and 6:30pm at the Wimbledon site, every 2nd & 4th Sunday.

Raynes Park site: 195-205 Worple Road, Raynes PArk, London, SW20 8RA

Wimbledon site: griffiths road, Wimbledon, London, SW19 1sp

What to expect in our church services…

Our Sunday mornings look like this:

10:15am: Coffee, Tea & Treats

10:30am: Worship service with a mix of Bible teaching, conversation, creativity and singing. The service is very much open to all! Feel free to get involved or sit back and watch. Coffee, tea & conversation continues after the service.

Our Sunday evenings look like this:

6:30pm: Coffee, Tea & Treats

6:45pm: Informal worship service with a mix of Bible teaching, conversation, film clips, discussion and creativity.

Our regular activities…

Monday:

7:45pm: Bigger Group (BGs) House group style Bible study, hosted in Member’s homes. Please contact us to find out the location for the upcoming week.  

Tuesday:

2pm: Tuesday Fellowship Join us in the Wesley Room (Raynes Park site) for fellowship, guest speakers and an opportunuty for a natter with old & new friends over a cup of tea & biscuits.    

Wednesday:

7pm: Lantern Bible Study A time to connect, pray, chat & explore the Bible. Everyone welcome 🙂 Group held at the Wimbledon Site.    

Friday:

7pm: Lantern Youth Group Open to all 11-18 year olds in the local community. Games, activities, discussions & a space to chill. Free entry; drinks & snacks provided

The Lantern Methodist Church is home to the Lantern Coffee House and the Lantern Arts Centre. The Church also runs a host of community projects ranging from Tuesday Fellowship through to an 11-a-side football team.
