Lantern Football Academy
This summer the Lantern Methodist Church are working in partnership with Kick London to establish a Football Academy. The Academy has four main objectives:
- To develop young people’s social, behavioural and emotional skills (helping them in their education and to avoid negative influences such as crime, drugs and anti-social behaviour).
- To develop the sporting skills and abilities of young people
- To improve the health and wellbeing of young people
- To develop young people’s knowledge and awareness of God’s love
£45 for all 14 weeks or £5 per session (Advance booking compulsory). There is a free taster session available for those who would like to try it out first (but please do email in advance to let us know that you are coming).
A certain number of complimentary spaces are available for Raynes Park High School students. Please enquire for more information.
Ages 7-15 and open to boys and girls.
Comfortable sports clothing should be worn. Shin pads and either small rubber stubble or flat-soled trainers should be worn. (ie No screw-in studs, large moulded studs or moulded blades).
We aim to take a number of the Academy players to the annual Kick Academy tournament which will take place on the 9th of July 2016 at Oasis Shirley Park. (More information to follow)
