winter night shelter

At our Wimbledon campus we host the Merton Winter Night Shelter in conjunction with Faith in Action and faith communities around Merton. 
 

We host one night a week from January through to March. 

 

Our guests use the ground floor of our building, and during this time they are given support and assistance while seeking permanent accommodation and employment. 

There are volunteer opportunities centred around making our guests feel as welcome as possible, these include preparing the halls for the overnight stay, serving and eating alongside the guests and cooking and preparing the breakfast.
